They hate, detest, despise being told what to do.

They can’t bear the idea that as their Creator

You have the right
to set the rules.

So their solution is to say You don’t exist.

“Nobody made me,” they declare.
“I’m here because something…

“There,” they say.

“I took care of that.
Now I can do whatever I please.”

Of course, the person who shuts his eyes
doesn’t make the light go away.

He simply blinds himself.
