Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in deepest gratitude: 

“My heart took delight in all my work, and this was the reward for all my labor.”
(Ecclesiastes 2:10)

 No doubt that’s a great reward, Jesus –

to be able to enjoy all my work.

Some of my work I love

some I endure
some of it I hate.

So, yes – that’s a dream…and a prayer:

Please enable me to take delight in all my work!

But that’s not really the reward for which I’m working.

Whether I enjoy it or not

may I so please You with the work I do
that I find my true reward

in heaven.
