Lazaroo – Friday, September 26, 2014

Sep 26, 2014 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with deep reverence:

“The elder…”
(2 John 1:1)

Am I drawn to the word, “elder,” Jesus?

Or do I shrink away?

I live in a society that celebrates youth – as it should!

But that same society casts off elders.

It’s understandable.

As people age, they become less physically attractive.
They often develop crippling ailments.

Many of them don’t stay current with the latest advances in technology, science, culture.

But they possess a treasure trove
of that which youth has in short supply:

O God!

Enable me to follow Your counsel
and mine that priceless treasure.
