Lazaroo – Friday, September 9, 2011

Sep 09, 2011 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in grateful security:

“Then the angel of the LORD said, ‘LORD Almighty, how long will you withhold mercy from Jerusalem and from the towns of Judah, which you have been angry with these seventy years?’ So the LORD spoke kind and comforting words to the angel who talked with me.”
(Zechariah 1:12-13)

What an encouragement it is to realize You allow Your angels to talk to You this way, Father!

The angel was obviously upset.

For the life of him, he couldn’t understand how You could bear to witness the suffering of Your people –

and not step in to stop it.

But instead of rebuking him for challenging You…

You spoke “kind and comforting” words to him.

I’ve questioned You on a few things myself, haven’t I, Jesus?

What a joy it is to know I can tell You exactly how I feel…

and You’re okay with that.
