Lazaroo – Monday, April 2, 2012

Apr 02, 2012 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in fascinated recognition:

“I was only a little angry, but they added to the calamity.”
(Zechariah 1:15)

I love hearing You talk this way, LORD!

Oh, I’m not talking about Your anger.
That scares me spitless.

I mean I love it when You let me peek into how You think

how You react
how You feel.

You’re not some impenetrable mountain
some incomprehensible force.

When You tell me You were a little angry at some people
but then they crossed lines that made You really angry…

I can relate!
I know exactly what You’re talking about!

You are so much like me, Jesus!

Well, actually…that’s not quite right, is it?

I’m so much like You.
You made me in Your image.

Some people get mad when they’re told they look like their dads.

Not me.

In fact, that’s my ultimate goal in life:

to look more and more

like You.
