Lazaroo – Monday, April 22, 2013

Apr 22, 2013 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, allowing gratitude to re-overwhelm you:

“I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever!”
(Revelation 1:18)

That’s an impressive resume, Jesus.

After that
there’s nothing else to say.

You absorbed life’s ugliest blow

and beat it.

But You didn’t do it for Yourself.

You did it for everyone who believes.
You did it for me.

You didn’t deserve to die.

I do.

You didn’t have to die.

I do.

If You hadn’t refused to exercise Your unlimited power

they couldn’t have laid a hand on You.

I, on the other hand, don’t possess unlimited power.

There are a whole lot of people
who can lay hands on me.

But because of what You did

Your resume will be mine!

One day I will be able to utter Your words:

“I am the living one
I was dead, and behold
I am alive for ever and ever!”
