Most of the time, Jesus…

I’m well aware when I do wrong.

Even when I can’t quote Bible chapter and verse

You’ve provided me with a conscience.
I have an inner sense of what’s right…and what’s wrong.

But every now and then, I run across a command in the Bible that I had never noticed – or simply misunderstood.

I know.
Ignorance of the law is no excuse.

Sin is sin –
whether I know it or not.

Please forgive my ignorant sins!

and reveal them to me as quickly as possible
so I can stop.
