Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with every fiber of your being:

“One day the angels came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them.”
(Job 1:6)

This blows my mind, Jesus.

Knowing Satan’s background – that he was one of Your top, guardian angels –

that his pride caused him to rebel against You
that he convinced a third of the angels to follow him
that Michael and his angels waged war against Satan and his angels

defeating them, hurling them to earth
where to this very day Satan and his angels
continue to fight against You and attempt to lead the whole world astray –

why would You allow Satan to crash your “staff” meeting with Your holy angels?

You could have stopped him.

But You didn’t.

You had a point to prove, so You let Him in.

And beat him.

So.

Your ways are not only higher than mine.

They’re also higher

than Satan’s.
