bring such conviction
penetrate so deeply into my conscience

that I’m tempted to react:

“What gives You the right
to say something like that to me?!“

But my very next thought is –

“Oh! Yeah…
…never mind.”

Who You Are…

comes through loud and clear.

No other

speaker
prophet
singer
author
historical figure
expert
inner voice

compares.

There are those who

speak eloquently
predict successfully
sing beautifully
write compellingly
lead brilliantly
advise intelligently
whisper intriguingly

But none speaks with the unmistakable authority of

ownership.

Not only do You know who You Are

You know who I am

and as I fall on my face before You

You let me know that You know.
