I agree with Solomon, Jesus.

You have made a huge number of amazing promises to Your people.

I know in my heart of hearts that Your promises are true.

I believe each and every one of them.

Nor are Your promises

vague
generic
one-size-fits all.

Many of them are as specific and detailed as a razor-sharp arrow sent straight for a bulls-eye

and a shocking number of them apply directly to me.

O God!

Let Your promises to me be confirmed!

I want to

taste their sharp tang on my tongue
see their riotous color with my two eyes
hear their sweet melody with my own ears
inhale their intoxicating fragrance in my nostrils
touch them with the index finger of my right hand

in Your perfect way

in Your perfect time.
