Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with unrestrained allegiance: 

“Because of this, God gave them over…”
(Romans 1:26)

I love the thought that something I do or say causes You to act, Jesus…

but not this way.

After repeated warnings…showering them with undeserved blessings upon blessings…incomprehensible patience…

You finally bring down on the heads of evildoers
what their sins deserve.

But in this instance, You punish them not by something You do

but by no longer stopping them
from something they think they want to do:

You give them over.

Not me, LORD, I beg You – not me!

When I’m about to blow it
stop me in my tracks.
