Resolve to get first things first, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:

“…the people assembled as one man in Jerusalem.”
(Ezra 3:1)

That doesn’t happen very often, Jesus.

But among Your people
You want it to happen all the time.

Sweet, peaceful, life-enriching unity
is supposed to be the norm in Your Church.

You want us to assemble as one
every time we gather to worship You.

Why don’t we, LORD!
Why is total oneness among Your people so very, very rare?

Some of us have never experienced it
even once.

It’s because we keep trying to accomplish it by connecting with one another, isn’t it?

instead of first making certain
we’re one with You.
