Lazaroo – Saturday, September 13, 2014

Sep 13, 2014 I Lazaroo.

Allow awareness to dawn, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:

“After this, Job opened his mouth and cursed the day of his birth.”
(Job 3:1)

That’s the operative phrase, isn’t it, Jesus –

“After this.”

Before that happened, Job probably felt more blessed than anyone on earth.

But “after this”…
he cursed the day of his birth.

I’ve had some “after this” moments, Father.

Some of them I saw coming
others blindsided me.

In their aftermath, I was devastated

I felt hopeless
except for You.

Maybe that’s why You allowed them –

so I’d be reminded that no matter what
I always have You.
