Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with honesty…and humility:

“I asked, ‘What are these, my lord?’ The angel who was talking with me answered, ‘I will show you what they are.’”
(Zechariah 1:9)

Okay.

It’s hard not to be jealous of this prophet, Jesus.

During the night You give him a vision.
You show him what is really going on behind world events.
You open to him the invisible spiritual dimension most of us never see.

Oh – and when he sees something he doesn’t understand?
Why, he just asks the angel who’s been talking with him
and gets his answer.

Wow.

Why do You do that for some people
but not for most of us?

Well…You know my real question, don’t You?

Why don’t you do that for me?

My faith, zeal and obedience would shoot through the roof!

Or does it work just the opposite –

first the faith, zeal and obedience…

then the visions, angels…and answers.
