Lazaroo – Sunday, January 29, 2012

Jan 29, 2012 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with a sense of sizzling expectation:

“When he came out, he could not speak to them. They realized he had seen a vision in the temple, for he kept making signs to them but remained unable to speak.”
(Luke 1:22)

Fascinating things happen when human beings encounter You, Jesus.

It wasn’t that this priest had nothing to say.

He just couldn’t say it.

That’s dramatically different from Moses’ reaction.

After he had a 1on1 chat with You
he was able to report exactly what You said.

Of course, there was the little matter of that veil he started wearing –
since after spending time in Your Presence

his face glowed.

After You gave Daniel a glimpse of the future

his strength was gone and he could hardly breathe.

I’m usually energized after spending time alone with You, LORD…but if You ever want to do anything like that to me, I’m ready.

I think.
