Lazaroo – Sunday, June 10, 2012

Jun 10, 2012 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with sold-out surrender:

“…an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. ‘Get up,’ he said, ‘take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him.’”
(Matthew 2:13)

It’s hard not to be a little envious, Jesus.

Okay…maybe a lot.

You send Joseph an angel –

give him explicit instructions
explain to him exactly why.

How many times I’ve wished You would do the same for me!

You’ve assigned me an angel – right?

How hard would it be to give my angel permission to appear to me in a dream?

Not hard at all.
Nothing is too hard for You.

You can do anything You like
whenever You feel like it.

But You don’t do what You feel, do You?

You do what’s best.

And that had better be good enough for me.
