Lazaroo – Sunday, May 29, 2011

May 29, 2011 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with God-originated faith:

“…we constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith.”
(2 Thessalonians 1:11)

I’ve heard it said You answer prayer three ways, Jesus:

Yes.
No.
Wait.

Maybe that’s why You don’t always tell me, “Yes.”

But this prayer Paul is praying seems a little stronger than that.

It sounds to me as though Paul is asking You to give these people Your “Yes” for every single project they undertake

so long as it is prompted by their faith.

So is that the key?

My faith?

On the one hand, that’s extremely encouraging.
On the other, it gives me a sinking feeling.

I’m afraid my faith…

needs a little work.

So what can I do about that?

If faith comes from hearing Your Word…

gotcha.
