Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud all the way to the marrow of your bones: 

“Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says…”
(James 1:23)

Why would anyone do that, Jesus –

take the time hear what You have to say

then flat-out disobey You
and go the other way?

Atheists and agnostics, sure.

But here’s the real question – and scariest:

Why do I do that?

I believe You’re God come in the flesh.

I believe the Bible is You speaking straight through Your prophets and apostles

to me.

So why – by all that’s holy –

am I still sinning these same sins
this much of the time?
