Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud all the way to the marrow of your bones: 

“The elders of the community are to lay their hands on the bull’s head before the LORD, and the bull shall be slaughtered before the LORD.”
(Leviticus 4:15)

What were they thinking when they did that, Jesus?

Did it upset them that an innocent bull had to die for their sins?

Did it give them added incentive not to sin?

They couldn’t have dreamed of what I now know:

That one day You Yourself would become the innocent sacrifice

for me.

Does that stunning reality give me the incentive I need not to sin?
