Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud all the way to the marrow of your bones:

I would love to experience a church service like this one, Jesus!

But it’s tough.

It’s so easy for me to show up “for church” like millions all over the world and

bow my head for prayer while my mind wanders
sing without thinking about the meaning of the words
go through the motions without ever connecting with You.

Satan goes to church, doesn’t he?

He doesn’t miss a single service.

He’d like nothing better than to take my attention off You and tempt me to

become irritated by the style of worship
get distracted by the unimportant
judge the people around me
find fault with the music
dislike the speaker.

Please.

Don’t let me play into Satan’s hands!

Instead…what if every single person in that room was focused on You?
