Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with wisdom and wonder:

“And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route.”
(Matthew 2:12)

Let me see if I understand this, Jesus:

These men had a dream…and changed their travel plans.
That must have been quite a dream!

Most of us don’t even remember our dreams.

When we do, we seldom act on them.
They’re usually so unreal that we dismiss them.

But there was something about this dream that was different.

Clearly, it was from You.
Only You could have known the evil Herod was planning.

Which makes me wonder…

will You ever speak to me this way?

If so, how will I know when it’s You…

and when it’s only an ordinary dream?

Perhaps the same way they did.

My guess is, when it’s You…

it will be a dream like no other.
