Lazaroo – Thursday, August 19, 2010

Aug 19, 2010 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with expanded awareness:

“So I took the leading men of your tribes, wise and respected men, and appointed them to have authority over you—as commanders of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties and of tens and as tribal officials.”
(Deuteronomy 1:15)

I’m not alone, Jesus…

although sometimes it feels that way.

There are times when by all appearances

there’s no one else who’s drop-dead serious about following You

no matter what the price
no matter what the cost
come what may.

But then You remind me that Your kingdom is just a little bit bigger than I am.

Not only are there people who measure up to my level of devotion

there are people who far surpass it.

Nor do I have to travel the globe to find them.

They’re living all around me.

Help me identify them

and give me the wisdom to partner with them

for You.
