Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, your heart beating with anticipation:

“When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.”
(Acts 2:1)

You showed up, Jesus.
Everybody got to experience it.

Firsthand.

But You’ve designed life
so that most times we can’t predict

when You’re going to show!

We try…

but we’re wrong more often than we’re right.

To make sure we’re there when You show up

we have to show up

every time.

Is that why You show up unexpectedly –

to give us the incentive we need
to be faithful

week-in
week-out

in good times
and bad

when we feel like it
and when we don’t?

You’re not looking for some-timers, are You?
You like all-timers

people who can be counted on
no matter what.

So sometimes You enter a worship experience and bring the house down

just like One Day
You’re going to call Your whole house up.

When You do

I’ll be there.
