What do I do when Satan tears it all down, Jesus?

Rebuild.

Quitting
     giving up
          drawing my legs into the fetal position

are not options.

If I was alone, they might be.

But I’m not alone.
I have You.

Oh, sure –

some of the very people
I was absolutely confident I could count on

see my plight
believe the worst
disappear.

But that’s when You shock me –

by sending to my aid those I hardly knew

even never knew

to join me in this hard, thrilling work

as together
we rebuild.
