It’s true, Jesus…

there’s nothing like Your deliverance!

I hate being

trapped
imprisoned
tied up
boxed-in
chained
manipulated
coerced
stifled
cornered.

But, oh, when You deliver me from my bondage!
Oh, when You break me free!

I dance for joy –
inhaling the sweet-smelling intoxication
of Your clean, fresh, life-giving air!

No, You haven’t delivered me from everything that hinders me.

Not yet.

But do You mind if I dance a little jig anyway – by faith?

‘Cause I know Your full deliverance
is on the way.
