Ask God to open your eyes, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo: 

“…his desires are not upright…”
(Habakkuk 2:4)

You promise to give me the desires of my heart, Jesus.

But first…
I need a clean heart.

When my desires are twisted, evil, wicked

they reveal a filthy heart.

No wonder I struggle so hard to change my bad habits!

I’m working on the wrong end.

It’s fruitless for me or anyone else to try to change my desires

so long as I have a self-centered heart.

So that’s where I begin.
Again.

O God!
Create in me a clean heart.
