There’s no higher mission, is there, Jesus?

You were sent by Your Father
I’m being sent by You.

You never swerved from Your calling.

I, on the other hand, have.
Many times.

I have no excuse.

Sometimes it’s because of fear
at other times because I succumb to temptation.

Sometimes, I just lose focus.

I know.

That’s no way to treat my high and holy assignment.

Worse yet…
that’s no way to treat You.

Please forgive me…protect me…empower me!

I don’t want You to give my job to somebody else.
