Lazaroo – Thursday, May 9, 2013

May 09, 2013 I Lazaroo.

Pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo, your heart overflowing with gratitude:

“The LORD said to Moses, ‘Say to the Israelites: “When anyone sins unintentionally and does what is forbidden in any of the LORD’S commands—If the anointed priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, he must bring to the LORD a young bull without defect as a sin offering for the sin he has committed.”’”
(Leviticus 4:1-3)

I love this about You, Jesus.

I sometimes do what I think is 100% right

not knowing it’s 100% wrong.

In fact, I’ve even been known to get on my soapbox and declare my innocence

not realizing You are looking on
shaking Your head

knowing how desperately
my hands need the soap
inside the box I’m standing on.

To those who likewise see my error

I look like a hypocrite.

But You see into my heart with compassion and forgiveness

witness my good intentions…

and pardon my innocent guilt.
