It’s an easy mistake to make, Jesus

and a potentially lethal one.

It’s not enough to know what I should do.

I’ve got to do it.

If I don’t, I’ve sinned.

I know better.
I have no excuse.

But that’s not all.

Failure to act on what You’ve shown me
discourages You from showing me more.

Why should you tell me something else
when I ignored Your last message?

Maybe it’s time to review what I already know

and get my act in gear.
