Lazaroo – Thursday, September 27, 2012

Sep 27, 2012 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in grateful wisdom:

“I will turn my hand against you; I will thoroughly purge away your dross and remove all your impurities.”
(Isaiah 1:25)

You’re amazing, Jesus.

When You turn Your hand against me, You have but one purpose:

to help me get rid of the junk in my life.

Yes, it hurts.

But You don’t hurt me to hurt me
You hurt me to help me

and that makes all the difference.

When You punish me

Your goal isn’t to make my life harder
but to make my life better.

It’s my sin that makes my life harder.

The problem is
while I’m busy sinning
I can’t see that.

Satan has blinded me.

I think I’m adding pleasure to my life

not realizing

Satan has merely sugared the poison I’m drinking.

When You grab it out of my hand
force me to spit the rest out

You’re saving my life.
