Lazaroo – Tuesday, July 3, 2012

Jul 03, 2012 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with informed trust:

“They seized the livestock of the Hagrites—fifty thousand camels, two hundred fifty thousand sheep and two thousand donkeys.”
(1 Chronicles 5:21)

This was no petty theft, Jesus.

Forget misdemeanor.
By Hagrite standards, this was an outrageous felony.

One which was fully sponsored by You.

In fact, without Your help, it wouldn’t have happened.
Couldn’t have happened.

This is why some people don’t like the 39 books of the Old Testament.

(If they read all 27 books
they wouldn’t like the New Testament, either.)

In fact, this is why many of those same people reject You.

“How could a loving God aid and abet
this kind of monstrous behavior by His people?” they ask.

They judge You

by what makes sense to them.

They hold You, the Creator of heaven and earth

hostage to their own tiny, limited understanding

totally forgetting

that it all belongs to You.

Genesis 1:1; Job 12:13; Psalms 50:10-12; Psalms 111:10; Psalms 115:15; Proverbs 2:6-9; Proverbs 3:5-7; Isaiah 55:8-9; Jeremiah 17:10; Romans 9:19-24

What is Lazaroo?
