Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in single-minded determination: 

“So she went out…”
(Ruth 2:3)

Ruth was told to go, Jesus

so she obeyed and went.

It was a good thing she did, too…

because You were in her mother-in-law’s advice.

Though she didn’t know it at the time

she was about to meet the man You had saved for her
from before the foundations of the earth.

You’ve told me to go, too, Jesus – out into this big old world, sharing Your good news.

Like Ruth, I don’t know what You will do with my obedience

but I can’t wait to find out.
