Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in deepest gratitude:

“He chose to give us birth through the word of truth…”
(James 1:18)

That’s the only way I will live forever, Jesus –

not because I’m good enough
not because of anything I’ve done
not because of what I refuse to do

but only through Your word of truth:

that when You died an undeserved death on the cross
You paid in full for the sins of all who trust solely in You –

and I do.

Of course, You had to help me – even with that.
I wasn’t good enough to choose You on my own

Before I was born You knew me
You loved me

You chose me for Yourself
You drew me

and I said yes.

It was still my choice.
As so many do, I could have rejected You.

But it was Your choice
to help me make the right choice
