Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with purified dedication: 

“…they have rushed for profit into Balaam’s error…”
(Jude 1:11)

Balaam was a genuine prophet, Jesus.

You actually spoke to him
performed miracles for him.

But this prophet…

was first focused on profit.

There’s nothing wrong with being rewarded for good behavior.

You promise that very thing to all Your people.

But as with all Your blessings

the gain
can become the god.

Balaam’s all-consuming desire to make a buck blinded him.
Cost him his life

as it will mine
unless You are my first priority.
