Ask God to help you get your priorities straight, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:

“The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice.”
(Philippians 1:18)

Help me get there, Jesus.

It’s so easy for me to get distracted by the side issues of Your Church that I don’t like:

leaders who won’t pay the price to get better
church members who use social media to gossip
too much emphasis on money
big churches enticing people away from smaller churches
bad decisions by people in power
people who preach one thing but live another
the music wars
more emphasis on rules than on love
politics, politics, politics.

Okay.

So Your Church is full of imperfect people

who are as flawed as I am.

But keep me from majoring on the minors and minoring on the majors.

What I need to do is leap for joy!

…because Christ is preached.
