It’s true, Jesus…

If I devote my life to building a temple for You
making Your Name great

I’ll get to live in a palace.

If not here…
in heaven.

I’d enjoy living in a palace down here, no doubt –
but heaven’s better:

much nicer neighborhood
far more impressive palaces
longer occupancy.

But may I never forget the priority:

Yours first.
Then mine.
