Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in attentive humility: 

“‘Therefore I bring charges against you again,’ declares the LORD.”
(Jeremiah 2:9)

I cannot imagine hearing those words, Jesus.

I’m so glad I haven’t heard them!
The implications are bone-chilling.

But here’s the question:

Are You speaking them…
but I’m not listening?

Is there anything in my life that I know I’m doing wrong?

If so, why?
– and why do I keep doing it?

I’ve got to stop, don’t I?

Otherwise, I’m showing contempt for You.

Just a guess…
but I suspect that’s not a particularly good idea.
