Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in sheer amazement:

“What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? You made him a little lower than the angels…”
(Hebrews 2:6-7)

For this piece of information to do me any good, Jesus…

first I’m going to have to believe in angels.

And I do.

You refer to them 293 times in the Bible.

That settles it –

although just once would have been good enough for me.

You made these beings called angels “higher” than You made me.

They’ve been around longer than humans.
They’re usually invisible to me –

though they can appear when You allow it.

They can look so awesome that I crumple at their feet
or show up during my day looking like another human being.

But even though I’m now lower than these mighty beings
the day is coming when they will stand before me

as their judge.
