Ask God for patience, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo: 

“Perhaps the reason he was separated from you for a little while was that you might have him back for good – ”
(Philemon 1:15)

I think I know how Paul meant that, Jesus –

he was probably saying this man could return to stay.

But knowing You, it could have an additional meaning.

Maybe You were also indicating that when he returned

he would do them much more good
than he did before.

Sometimes that’s what it takes, isn’t it?

A second chance

or a third
or a 30^th
or a 300^th

before I’m as good
as You originally intended me to be.
