Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with earnest desire: 

“He urged them to plead for mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery, so that he and his friends might not be executed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.”
(Daniel 2:18)

Well, yes, Jesus…

that would tend to motivate me to pray.

It’s a shame, though, how often I’ve needed an emergency

before I’ve been motivated to pray
like those men must have prayed
when they knew their lives were on the line.

My life’s always on the line, isn’t it? So are the lives of others.

Please, LORD.
Help me pray accordingly.
