Beg God for His strength to persevere, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:

“The war between the house of Saul and the house of David lasted a long time.”
(2 Samuel 3:1)

That’s when it gets tough, isn’t it, Jesus?

Almost everybody understands:
“Into every life a little rain must fall.”

But when it keeps raining day after day
with no letup in sight?

Yeah.
That’s when people start bailing, left and right.

Not me, LORD.

I refuse to become a fair-weather Christian.

Because there’s one battle that will continue to rage every single day I spend on this earth:

You and Your angels
against Satan and the forces of evil.

I may as well hunker down and equip myself to fight it.
