Lazaroo – Wednesday, October 24, 2012

Oct 24, 2012 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in grateful confidence:

“In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary.”
(Luke 1:26-27)

This kind of information is so crucial, Jesus!

Thank You for knowing we need it.
Thank You for providing it.

You not only tell me what happened, but You spell out exactly

when it happened
where it happened
how it happened
to whom it happened.

Then You go on to explain why it happened.

Fairy tales don’t do that.

Since they’re only the product of some writer’s imagination
they prefer:

“Once upon a time.”

False religions don’t do that.

They’re making it up as they go.

The last thing they want or need

is to give potential followers dates and times
that can be looked up

independently checked

…and exposed.
