Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with humility…and gratitude:

“He asked the king’s officer, ‘Why did the king issue such a harsh decree?’”
(Daniel 2:15)

Great question, Jesus:

Before I react to something I don’t like
it’s not a bad idea to ask, “Why?”

People usually have a reason for what they say and do.

If the reason isn’t very good

maybe You can help me show that to them
get them to change their minds.

If the reason is good

maybe You can help them show that to me
help me change my mind!

But there’s one “why” question I don’t think anyone can answer:

Why do You love me so much?
