Lazaroo – Sunday, June 21, 2009
No comments, Jun 21, 2009
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with burning zeal:
“Before you were born I set you apart.”
(Jeremiah 1:5)
What have you set me apart to do, Jesus?
I’ve got to know.
I have so much in common with the human race. And for that, I thank You.
But what I’m desperate to find out is:
Where am I different?
What intriguing package of heredity, gifts, skills, hard knocks, achievements, personality and DNA quirks have You built into me…
…that You’ve given to nobody else?
That’s what I’ve got to identify.
Please.
Show me.
Because those things – taken together –
Are what make me one-of-a-kind.
O God!
Reveal to me exactly who I am.
Open my eyes to the bizarre treasures You have secreted deep within me.
Guide me to the subtle clues I can piece together that will point to the exact spot where
I am absolutely indispensable to Your Plan of the Ages.
