How will understanding guard me, Jesus?

I’d…like to understand.

Of course, the first thing I need is to obey

whether or not I understand.

I dare not wait to follow one of your commands until I understand it completely.

Something tells me there’s plenty You tell me to do
that I won’t be able to understand until heaven.

Something also tells me that the people to whom You grant understanding are those who first trust You enough to obey

while they wait to understand.
